The Championship went down to the wire after a full series of nine races and was won by local favourites Craig McPhee and Gillian Berry in More Small Things, chased all the way by Chukkel, Rigididge and Rumline. This popular win was achieved in the full range of sailing conditions from strong breeze and huge waves to flat calm and light airs. Presentation Night was very enjoyable with the Tasar sailors from each state providing the entertainment. There were some very fine acts indeed but I think special mention should go to the ADF who amused us with a toga, water and mop routine. Australia's defence is in safe hands Thanks to Mick Bowley and all the volunteers and staff at Adelaide Sailing Club for all their hard work, professionalism and cooperation. Thanks also of course to the members of the SA Tasar committee and volunteers for all their time and work before and during the Regatta. Full results can be found here and some photographs here.
