TANSW Training Initiative

The TANSW is excited to announce a training initiative.

There will be two days available for training, the 26th of February at Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC), and the 11th March at Woollahra Sailing Club (WSC). You are welcome to come for the two days, or just the one! Suit yourself but either way you will see enormous benefit!

The investment will be $50 per boat per day ($60 for non-members) subsidised by the TANSW. This will include a professional coach (Simon Reffold), feedback and video footage. This is broken down in the read more section below!

As there is a lot of planning involved in these sessions, you will need to register your interest to take part via email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Up next in NSW - TT2 Concord-Ryde

The second TT for this year's program will be sailed from Concord-Ryde on 3 December 2011.

A briefing will be held at 1.30pm, with racing from 2.00pm. The full sailing instructions are available here and a course map is available here (advised you look this one over).

Sailors will be directed to parking and unload areas on the day. There is parking available in the park near the club. It is preferred that you don't park on the road.
More information on the club is available on the Concord-Ryde Sailing Club website.

There will be a canteen available on the day (no alcohol sold), and a BBQ after racing.

The entry fee is $10 per boat, with $5 going to the TANSW and $5 to Concord for the visitors fee. Money can be paid to a TANSW Committee member on the day, and they will take care of your visitors fee.

We look forward to seeing many Tasar sailors at Concord-Ryde, hope you can make it!
