The images below give you some idea of what it is like at McCrae YC and the surrounding waters. Most boats will try and rig on the lawn in front of the club with the remainder on the beautiful beach out front. It's a terrific swimming beach for kids and the waters are clean and clear. The predominant summer sea breeze blows on an angle offshore from the south. These shots were taken over 4 or 5 weekends at different times throughout the sailing season. As you can see, off shore breezes and flat water are common conditions. When the sea breeze does kick in, it does get pretty choppy off-shore!
