Training at Somers, this Saturday 1st December

The Tasar training days for TAV members continue to be enjoyed and useful; the next one is on THIS Saturday, the 1st December at Somers Yacht Club. Now is the time to sharpen your sailing skills and set yourself up for the season. So don't miss out.

Training session itself starts at 10am so to maximise its value, arrive early and have your boat rigged and ready to go by 10am.
Tim's inflatable Duck and the TAV Coach are ready to go (not that we're saying that our Coach is a Duck, or that we've appointed a Duck to coach us, or that Ducks have mylar wings, or that mylar is made from duck, or any other combination of the above).

TAV Youth Grand Prix

The TAV has organised an intiative to introduce the Tasar to youth sailors called the Youth Grand Prix series. The idea is to give as many kids as possible the chance to get on a Tasar and get a feel for what a lovely boat they are to sail. To date there have been held at both Royal Geelong and Sandringham YCs. To say it has been a roaring success would be an understatement!
