Saturday was just a gorgeous day to be out on Sydney Harbour.

Twelve Tasars enjoyed four races for part 1 of the NSW Short Course Championships sailed from Woollahra Sailing Club on Saturday 25 June. The races were sailed in a wintery westerly from six to twelve knots.

The results came down to the last race where Rob and Nicole Douglass just managed to finish with enough boats in between themselves and Brad Stephens and Clare Woods to smuggle the win. Brad and Clare lead the regatta over the first few races with some great sailing. John Balass and Heather Forton sailed fantastically and not surprisingly (except to themselves) finished in third position.

The best part of the day was starting at 10.30am and getting back to shore just as the Harbour started to completely glass out. We definitely got the best of the day!
