Accommodation in Darwin

There are lots of accommodation options in Darwin, ranging from very basic back-packer hostels to 5 star luxury hotels in the city, as well as camping and cabin accommodation.  It doesn’t take long to drive anywhere in Darwin and most accommodation is only 10-20 mins away, so location is not a huge issue, if you have a car.  Many hotel/motels, etc are easily accessed by bicycle, bus or taxi if you don’t have a car, so I would recommend ‘googling’ their location to check the distance to and from the Darwin Sailing Club.

July is peak tourist time in Darwin and the 2012 Tasar Nationals will be competing with many other tourist events, ie. the Super Cars, Beer Can Regatta, Darwin Show, and the lead up to Darwin Cup, to mention a few, so it is recommended to book your preferred accommodation as soon as possible.  NOW is a good time
