I intend to go to Japan as well. I don't think Jim will be able to attend, so I will most likely go with the Defence Force team.

Possibly one boat - could be two if the price is right - need some firm figures before committing.:)

Thanks Everybody,

keep those expressions of interest coming. To date there have been NSW (5), Vic (3 or 4) and NT (1) which makes for approx 10 to date. Shane Guanaria has kindly offered to take on the role of shipping coordinator for the effort. On behalf of the Australian Tasar fleet, thank you Shane! So now its a case of watch this space as he begins to provide information as to how it is all going to work and what it will cost.

Please keep the expressions of interest coming as it will be very important to know the numbers to finalise costs and also work out how much the ATC might be able to subsidise boats going to Japan.
